Following the succes of Ghostly Manor, we provided the master planning for Valgard – Realm of the Vikings. Valgard is a new themed area designed to transport visitors into the myths and legends of the Viking age. 

At the heart of the land stands Drakon, Paultons Park’s first inverting roller coaster: a custom Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter featuring a vertical lift, beyond-vertical drop and two inversions. Alongside it, Vild Swing, a UK-first attraction from ART Engineering, offers a 12-meter high pendulum experience with a unique rotating gondola, combining intensity with accessibility for a wide range of guests.

Adding to the line-up, the existing Cobra coaster is reimagined as Raven, a Viking-themed bobsled ride. Younger adventurers can discover a bespoke Viking playground. A large Scandinavian-inspired dining hall completes the experience, providing a social hub where families can relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

Through detailed design, richly themed environments and a carefully curated mix of attractions, Valgard brings the spirit of the Vikings to life, offering unforgettable adventures for thrill-seekers and families alike.
