As we observe a growing trend where the journey itself is becoming more important than the destination, there is a shift toward transforming massive cruise ships into floating, theme park-like environments. Modern cruise ships now offer many of the same elements found in major theme park resorts: experiences, dining, and accommodations. Therefore, our expertise as guest experience designers in the theme park industry brings significant value to enhancing the overall guest experience as these ships continue to evolve.

With AIDA Cruises, we designed and produced an immersive, detailed dinner show with live entertainment aboard the AIDA Nova. This steampunk-themed restaurant serves as the setting for Professor Tempus, who, along with his crew, takes guests on an exhilarating 120-minute time-travel adventure within his machine.
