Since 2018, we have worked together with Walibi Holland with the annual renewal of her existing areas. The overarching theme for this long term project is ”Festivalization,” where new thematic zones are created each year within the existing park boundaries.

This journey began in 2018 with Untamed, a retrack of an old wooden coaster. We designed Wilderness for the area of Untamed, where nature has reclaimed its space. In 2020, the Speed Zone was added, where various rides were re-themed, transforming the area into a cohesive experience. In 2021, the Exotic area was introduced, featuring the metamorphosis of four different attractions in a colourful zone. In 2023, we expanded Speed Zone with the addition of Speed Zone Off Road, which included a new children’s coaster. In 2024, we added the Playground and re-themed the park’s largest restaurant, introducing a world cuisine concept to Walibi Holland’s guests.

Through this phased approach, combined with clear demarcation using portals and distinct color schemes for each area, a unique character has emerged within the park. Throughout this process, we have continuously aimed to deliver impactful solutions, always considering the client’s CAPEX budget.
