New area opening in different phases
Step into the grandeur of the Dinosaurs at Dino Inc.’s campsite in Djurs Sommerland. Paleontologists have sculpted dinosaurs from the excavated sand and opened the research site to invite brave visitors to discover the magnificent creatures they’ve uncovered here.
The development of this area followed a meticulous master plan, with the first phase opening in 2022, featuring a powered coaster, a safari ride, and a playground. This was expanded in 2023 with the addition of SpinOSaurus, a Disk’o Coaster that also serves as the portal to Dinosaurland, along with a Motorbike Derby, and the re-theming and relocation of a teacup ride.
The opening of this area aligns with the master planning we have been carrying out with Djurs Sommerland for nearly a decade, which has partly resulted in an increase in visitors from 500,000 to 900,000 annually.
